Elle se trouve \u00e0 2\u00a0km de l&#039;autoroute panam\u00e9ricaine\/interam\u00e9ricaine. La route d&#039;acc\u00e8s, \u00ab\u00a0La Lucha\u00a0\u00bb, doit son nom \u00e0 la ferme. Chacarita se trouve \u00e0 la sortie de la p\u00e9ninsule d&#039;Osa, au c\u0153ur de la r\u00e9gion, entre les spots de surf de Pavones et Dominical. Elle b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e9galement d&#039;une situation centrale, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de plusieurs parcs nationaux. Un nouvel a\u00e9roport international est pr\u00e9vu dans la vall\u00e9e entre Chacarita et Palmar. Le terrain a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 et l&#039;h\u00f4pital n\u00e9cessaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit \u00e0 Cortez, non loin de l\u00e0. On y trouve une station-service, deux restaurants, un supermarch\u00e9, une quincaillerie et un magasin d&#039;alimentation animale. On y trouve \u00e9galement une nouvelle \u00e9cole primaire, un nouveau lyc\u00e9e et une \u00e9glise. Un distributeur automatique de billets est \u00e9galement en cours d&#039;installation. Un excellent service de bus est disponible \u00e0 15\u00a0minutes \u00e0 pied de la ferme, mais elle est \u00e9loign\u00e9e de la population locale. L&#039;acc\u00e8s est gravillonn\u00e9 sur tout un c\u00f4t\u00e9 et l&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est disponible \u00e0 moins de 50 m\u00e8tres du bas de la ferme. L&#039;altitude de la ferme varie d&#039;environ 200 \u00e0 400 m\u00e8tres et elle est situ\u00e9e sur une montagne dominant la vall\u00e9e en contrebas. La propri\u00e9t\u00e9 dispose d&#039;une grande surface constructible avec vue sur le Golfo Dulce et de nombreuses grandes surfaces planes constructibles. L&#039;espace est \u00e9galement suffisant pour am\u00e9nager une petite piste d&#039;atterrissage d&#039;un peu moins de 300 m\u00e8tres de long, dont une extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 donne sur l&#039;acc\u00e8s public gravillonn\u00e9 et l&#039;autre sur une pente d&#039;environ 300 m\u00e8tres, expos\u00e9e aux vents dominants et aux courants ascendants, id\u00e9ale pour les petits avions, les deltaplanes, etc. La ferme est g\u00e9r\u00e9e par une famille depuis 20 ans, qui a mis en place avec succ\u00e8s un projet de permaculture performant avec des centaines d&#039;arbres fruitiers tropicaux et de nombreuses autres plantes, dont le manioc, les bananiers, les cocotiers, etc. La ferme est enti\u00e8rement biologique et aucun produit chimique n&#039;a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 sur les terres depuis 20 ans. On y trouve un petit ruisseau, un peu de jungle vierge et cinq sources. La ferme est sillonn\u00e9e de nombreux sentiers de randonn\u00e9e, du bas vers le haut jusqu&#039;au point d&#039;acc\u00e8s public. La ferme offre des vues magnifiques et son sol est calcaire.
